#1981 - Fake head crying at the grave

Clang, clang, clang... ...

Then a little demon ran over nervously and reported to King Nanshan.

"Your Majesty, things are bad! They are smashing the door, and I'm afraid they will break through the cave entrance and rush in soon."

Hearing this, King Nanshan was even more at a loss.

Sun Wukong and the others came to demand Tang Sanzang, but even though he had set up the 'Dividing Petal Plum Blossom Scheme,' Tang Sanzang's whereabouts were unknown.

"Even if I say Tang Sanzang is missing, they won't believe me."

King Nanshan was now unable to defend himself, so anxious that he was about to bang his head against the wall.

"Your Majesty, now that things have come to this, we can only try anything, even if it seems hopeless. I do have a plan here."

The Canglang monster's eyes darted around, and then he whispered something to King Nanshan.

"Alas, let's give it a try."

King Nanshan sighed. Besides following the Canglang monster's plan, there was currently no other countermeasure.

The Canglang monster led two little demons towards the outside of the cave.

At this time, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Seng were using their weapons to smash the gate of the Lianhuan Cave.

While smashing, they shouted for King Nanshan to come out and quickly return their master.

In fact, they were just putting on an act. Otherwise, with the strength of the three of them, this mere cave gate could be smashed to pieces with just one blow.

"Great Sage Grandfather, stop! Please listen to our explanation!"

At this moment, the Canglang monster shouted from inside the cave gate.

Sun Wukong and the others stopped smashing the door. The Canglang monster led two little demons and crawled out of the cave gate, holding a tray in his hand.

"Monster, quickly return our master!"

Sun Wukong pretended to be furious and rebuked the Canglang monster.

"Great Sage Grandfather, we didn't capture your master. It's just that we saw that your master and disciples were tired from traveling, so our king invited your master to the cave for a short rest.

Originally, everything was fine, and our king and your master were having a pleasant conversation, but due to a momentary oversight, a few ignorant little demons in the cave boiled your master and ate him.

Our king is also very ashamed and is busy preparing a Buddhist service in the cave to arrange the burial for your master. Hearing that Great Sage Grandfather has arrived, he specially asked me to send out the remaining head of your master to show our sincerity."

As he spoke, the Canglang monster opened the silk cloth covering the tray. The silk cloth covered a head that looked exactly like Tang Sanzang.

"Master!"

Seeing the head, Sun Wukong immediately showed a sad expression.

"Master is dead, leaving only this head!"

Zhu Bajie also immediately cried out and took the tray and head.

"Eldest Brother, Second Brother, let's bury Master first!"

Sha Seng also said with tears in his eyes, his face full of sorrow.

Seeing Sun Wukong and the others like this, the Canglang monster was secretly delighted. If they believed it, the Lianhuan Cave would have survived this calamity.

Sun Wukong and the others carried Tang Sanzang's head and searched for a place with excellent feng shui in Hidden Mist Mountain. Zhu Bajie dug a pit with his rake.

The three of them worked together to bury Tang Sanzang's head and built a burial mound.

Zhu Bajie also broke off some branches and inserted them on Tang Sanzang's grave to shield it from the shade.

Afterwards, the three of them cried together, putting on a sad appearance of missing their master and being separated by death.

Of course, all of this was being acted out for others to see. There were two groups of people watching Sun Wukong and the others crying at the grave.

The first group was naturally the little demons sent by King Nanshan. He needed to confirm that Sun Wukong and the others believed it before he could feel more at ease.

The second group was the scouts and informants from the Western Heaven. What they were concerned about was naturally the progress of the tribulation, and they were constantly reporting the situation to the Western Heaven.

The little demons saw this scene and went back to report to King Nanshan.

"Your Majesty, they buried the head and cried very sadly in front of the grave. They must have believed it."

"Your Majesty, as long as they believe Tang Sanzang is dead, they will leave after crying, and we should be able to escape this calamity!"

The Canglang monster speculated to King Nanshan.

After Sun Wukong and the others cried bitterly at Tang Sanzang's grave, they should naturally perform the next scene, which is the breakup plot.

In this plot, Zhu Bajie naturally plays a heavyweight role.

"Brother Monkey, Brother Sha, since Master is already gone and we can't obtain the scriptures, we might as well divide the luggage and horses and break up directly. Brother Monkey returns to Mount Huaguo, I return to Gao Lao Zhuang, and Brother Sha returns to his own Liusha River."

As Zhu Bajie spoke, he was about to take the brocade cassock and golden alms bowl, because these were the most valuable things in their luggage.

"No, Second Brother, no! Master's bones are not yet cold, how can we break up?"

Sha Seng persuaded Zhu Bajie, also preventing him from taking the valuable things away for real.

"You guys are so annoying."

Sun Wukong was noncommittal, too lazy to care about the two's dispute.

The scouts and informants from the Western Heaven were naturally very happy to see this scene and immediately conveyed the situation to the Western Heaven.

"It's done!"

Hearing this news, Buddha, Guanyin, and the monks of the Western Heaven were all overjoyed.

This tribulation of Hidden Mist Mountain was arranged like this. King Nanshan deceived Sun Wukong and the others, putting them on the verge of breaking up.

And the Western Heaven could take action at this time, rescuing the captured Tang Sanzang from King Nanshan and bringing him to Sun Wukong and the others.

First, they could curry favor with Tang Sanzang and his disciples, making them grateful and promoting the reputation of the Western Heaven to accumulate prestige.

Secondly, it could also demonstrate the strength of the Western Heaven, the kind that can control the universe and be omnipotent in the Three Realms.

"Very good, let Guanyin go this time."

Seeing that the plot was progressing smoothly according to his arrangement, the Tathagata Buddha seemed very happy and sent Guanyin, this veteran public relations expert, to go.

But suddenly, as if he had remembered something, he asked Manjusri, Samantabhadra, and others beside him.

"How is Chu Hao doing recently?"

Although he had negotiated with Chu Hao, the Tathagata Buddha was still not at ease, because Chu Hao was the most unpredictable variable every time at a critical moment, and every time he made them fail.

"Reporting to Buddha, Chu Hao has recently been either drinking and playing in the Law Enforcement Hall, or going everywhere to drink tea and play chess with those immortals, looking like a leisurely and carefree person."

Manjusri Bodhisattva reported Chu Hao's recent situation to the Tathagata Buddha.

"Well, very good. Although it cost a lot, it still made this Chu Hao compromise, which can be regarded as eliminating a major concern for us."

The Tathagata Buddha nodded, but when he thought of the treasures taken away by Chu Hao, he still felt pain, especially his golden lotus throne.

But as long as he could make Chu Hao compromise, in the eyes of the Tathagata Buddha, these sacrifices were still acceptable. After all, there must be sacrifices to achieve great plans.

But would Chu Hao really compromise with the Western Heaven and the Tathagata Buddha?
