#1790 - Sun Wukong fights three demons, and the three demons betray the West Heaven

Sun Wukong, wielding the Golden Cudgel, unleashed terrifying power. With a single strike, like autumn wind sweeping away fallen leaves, he sent Green Lion's giant paw flying. Green Lion's massive body staggered backward.

Its immense size granted it great strength, but against the agile Sun Wukong, it was useless. Only in human form could it contend with him.

It transformed back into human form, wielding a steel blade to slash at Sun Wukong.

The two instantly engaged in a fierce battle in the sky, unleashing intense power.

Originally, Green Lion was only putting on a show for the Western Paradise and Maitreya Buddha, but now, fighting against Sun Wukong, he became truly enraged, his steel blade tearing through the void as he slashed at his opponent's body.

Sun Wukong was incredibly agile, completely unafraid in the face of the opponent's frenzied barrage of attacks. The Golden Cudgel in his hand constantly moved, clashing with the steel blade from time to time.

In an instant, sparks flew, and the void trembled.

The two were evenly matched in strength. In truth, Sun Wukong was even more agile, which made Green Lion feel incredibly frustrated.

Meanwhile, at the cave entrance, Green Lion's second and third brothers appeared.

The second brother had the head of an elephant and the body of a man, with phoenix eyes and golden pupils, yellow teeth, and thick legs. His long trunk was covered in silver hair, making one almost think his head was his tail.

"Big brother is angry," the second demon muttered.

Despite his round forehead, furrowed brows, and burly frame, his voice was high-pitched and delicate, like that of a beautiful maiden, completely incongruous with his ogre-like face.

He was the six-tusked White Elephant, mount of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra of Mount Emei. Wielding a long spear, he looked imposing.

"The Future Buddha of the East instructed us to capture Tang Sanzang without harming him. Sun Wukong is unaware of this. If this continues, something bad might happen," the third demon said, looking worried.

This third demon had a golden-winged Kun head and starry leopard eyes. He was originally a golden-winged Peng, named Cloud Roc of Ten Thousand Miles, and he wielded a halberd. His strength was extraordinary.

Currently, these three demons had all submitted to Maitreya Buddha, so they had to act with extreme caution, fearing they might ruin his plan.

In the arena, Sun Wukong gradually began to overpower Green Lion. He was enveloped in divine light, and his fighting skills were exceedingly superb.

Seeing this, the second demon, the six-tusked White Elephant, finally couldn't bear it any longer. Wielding his long spear, he shouted, "Big brother, I'll help you!"

With that, he swung his long spear, creating a fierce wind blade that tore through the void and attacked Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong immediately dodged, avoiding the wind blade, and glared at the six-tusked White Elephant, saying, "You fiend, how dare you launch a sneak attack on Old Sun!"

The six-tusked White Elephant looked helpless. He knew that the Western Paradise was watching, and he had to find a way to get Sun Wukong into the cave first.

This was because Maitreya Buddha had used his divine powers to shield the cave, preventing the Buddhas of the Western Paradise from spying on it.

Therefore, he roared, "Sun Wukong, don't you want to save your master? Then come with us into the cave!"

Sun Wukong's eyes darted around, suspecting it was a trick. He immediately said coldly, "Don't even think about it. Who knows what's waiting for Old Sun in that cave? If you want to fight, then fight!"

With that, he wielded the Golden Cudgel and charged out again.

He swung the cudgel, creating a storm, and smashed it fiercely at Green Lion.

Green Lion immediately raised his weapon to block. At this moment, the six-tusked White Elephant gritted his teeth and also attacked, his long spear piercing the void and stabbing straight at Sun Wukong's ribs.

Sun Wukong immediately retreated, transforming into a stream of light and rushing towards the six-tusked White Elephant from the side, his speed astonishing.

The six-tusked White Elephant didn't expect Sun Wukong to be so difficult to deal with. He immediately swung his long trunk, the tough trunk swaying like a giant snake, lashing at Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong once again relied on his agile body to dodge the attack.

Seeing this, the Golden-Winged Great Peng was also slightly surprised: "This Sun Wukong is indeed powerful. If it were a one-on-one fight, we might not be his match."

With that, he glanced at the sky, gripped his halberd, and charged forward, joining the battle.

Although the Golden-Winged Great Peng was ranked third, his origins were extraordinary, and his strength was the strongest of the three. He possessed the bloodline of an ancient divine beast. With a movement, he transformed into a blur and disappeared from his original position.

Reappearing, he was already in the arena, his halberd pointing directly at Sun Wukong's right shoulder.

Seeing this, the Golden-Winged Great Peng crashed down, the rapid wind causing Sun Wukong to feel a sense of weightlessness, and the power he had just gathered dissipated.

Upon reaching the cave entrance, the Golden-Winged Great Peng threw him down. Seeing this, the six-tusked White Elephant rolled up his trunk and pulled Sun Wukong into the cave.

As soon as he entered the cave, the six-tusked White Elephant transmitted his voice: "Great Sage, please calm down. This is acting for the Western Paradise to see."

The words of the six-tusked White Elephant made Sun Wukong, who was about to break free, freeze. His expression changed slightly: "What trick are you demons playing?"

At this time, the Golden-Winged Great Peng and Green Lion also entered the cave.

The Golden-Winged Great Peng looked at Sun Wukong being rolled up and immediately said, "Quickly release the Great Sage."

The six-tusked White Elephant then released him and explained, "We are entrusted by the Future Buddha of the East to use Tang Sanzang to coerce the Western Paradise, but we do not intend to harm you."

"You colluded with Maitreya Buddha's demonic sect?" Sun Wukong frowned.

He remembered the methods used by the demonic sect in the Little Thunderclap Temple. Hearing that the other party was going to deal with the Western Paradise, he was even more surprised.

"The Future Buddha of the East is the righteous path. The Western Paradise is just a group of hypocrites. We are driven by them but receive no benefits. We should have rebelled long ago," Green Lion said angrily.

Sun Wukong asked suspiciously, "Where is my master?"

"They are in the cave. Please come with us," the six-tusked White Elephant said.
