"What about the centipede spirit? Has she been taken away by Bodhisattva Cīlánpó?" 如来 (Rúlái) asked.

Hearing this, Guanyin shook her head, "The centipede spirit and the spider spirits have been released by Tang Sanzang and his disciples."

"What? Released?" 如来 (Rúlái) frowned, and the other Buddhas also showed surprised expressions.

Guanyin continued, "That Tang Sanzang said that the centipede spirit and the spider spirits did not harm anyone, so he released them."

"Nonsense, that centipede spirit is worshiping Taoist statues in my Western Heaven's territory, completely disregarding our Spiritual Mountain," a Buddha immediately said angrily.

Guanyin was silent, a strange light flashing in her eyes.

The reason for choosing those seven spider spirits and the centipede spirit for this tribulation was because they disrespected the Spiritual Mountain, did not respect the Buddha, and did not act according to the rules of the Western Heavens, so naturally, they had to be punished.

According to 如来 (Rúlái)'s plan, the weak spider spirits could die, but the centipede spirit could be used by the Spiritual Mountain, just like many demons in the Spiritual Mountain came to be.

如来 (Rúlái) then summoned several Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, a total of five, to follow Guanyin.

The five stood beside Guanyin and bowed, while Guanyin suddenly turned around and walked outside, as did 谛听 (Dìtīng).

The other five, seeing this, thought that Guanyin was busy solving the centipede spirit and the spider spirits, and immediately followed.

The group left the Spiritual Mountain and flew towards the lower realm.

On the way, a Buddha looked at Guanyin and asked suspiciously, "Venerable Guanyin, why do I feel that something is wrong with you?"

In his sight, the peaceful divine light originally emitted by Guanyin was now mixed with black threads, like insects crawling all over it.

The other Buddhas also noticed and looked at Guanyin with curious expressions.

At this time, Guanyin suddenly raised her head, a trace of demonic energy flashing in her eyes, and said in a low voice, "You group of Western Heaven's lackeys, you should die."

Saying that, she suddenly slapped out a palm, blasting towards the nearest Buddha.

The three Buddhas who had been blasted away earlier were also caught up by Guanyin and 谛听 (Dìtīng) and killed without hesitation.
