Journey to the West: Man in heaven, working nine to five

#1712 - If you can see the future, why not worship?

#1712 - If you can see the future, why not worship?

The Tathagata Buddha stood there, dumbfounded.

“Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, do you know what you are saying? That is the Future Buddha! How could he run away?”

The position of the Future Buddha, one of the Buddhas of the Three Ages, was already a top figure in the Western Paradise.

Although, before, because Chu Hao had stormed the heavens, Maitreya Buddha had maliciously attacked, and the Tathagata Buddha had punished him slightly, it was only to punish him to fish in the South Sea.

Such a light punishment wouldn't make the Future Buddha so angry that he would abandon the position he had cultivated for so many years and run away, right?

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva felt immense pressure from the gaze, and fine sweat dripped from her forehead, her expression revealing a hint of helplessness.

“I also dare not believe it, but when I went to the South Sea, Maitreya Buddha's temporary dojo was empty, and I found something in his dojo. I'm afraid things are not that simple…”

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's voice became nervous, and she stammered a little while speaking.

Where had the Buddhas present ever seen Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva like this? She used to be so happy when delivering bad news, wishing she could beat gongs and drums to tell everyone, but now, why has she become like this?

The Tathagata Buddha's eyes were full of solemnity.

“No matter what it is, just take it out. If you have any guesses, speak without restraint!”

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva swallowed and nervously took out a Buddhist scripture.

The Buddhas frowned. Isn't it just a Buddhist scripture? He's the Future Buddha; is he supposed to chant magic instead of Buddhist scriptures?

The Tathagata Buddha frowned. He felt that this Buddhist scripture was not quite right.

“There seems to be a familiar power on this scripture? Bodhisattva, what do you think?”

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's face showed a hint of nervousness, but she hesitated and said:

“Buddha, the problem lies in this scripture. This is probably a demonic scripture…”

As Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva said this, the Tathagata Buddha, holding the Buddhist scripture, suddenly seemed to sense something. He abruptly opened the scripture.

Instantly, from the scripture in the Tathagata Buddha's hand, an extremely powerful and pure demonic power instantly attacked the Tathagata Buddha's face, it was extremely fierce.

The Tathagata Buddha naturally did not move. Such a small amount of demonic power could not harm him. The demonic power quickly disappeared under the illumination of the Tathagata Buddha's Buddha light.

However, the Tathagata Buddha's face turned black.

Of course, not blackened by smoke, but blackened by anger.

Obviously, for the Tathagata Buddha, this little bit of demonic power could not shake anything, but this was the Future Buddha's thing.

Why would a dignified Future Buddha have such a thing on him? A scripture full of demonic power?

The Tathagata Buddha's face was black at this moment, and he gritted his teeth, but he was stern and strong, and firmly said:

“Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, you wouldn't suspect that the Future Buddha is involved with the Demon Clan, would you? The Future Buddha attained Anuttara-Samyak-Sambodhi and is unstained by any dust. He cannot do anything to betray the Western Paradise!”

However, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva hesitated for a long time, but still said hesitantly:

“But now, in the South Sea, in the Future Buddha's dojo, there is no one.

I dare not suspect the Future Buddha, but the calamity of the Little Western Paradise is significant, and we must be cautious…”

The Tathagata Buddha snorted coldly, and his expression showed an unprecedented solemnity.

“Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, didn't you understand what I said? I said, do not suspect the Future Buddha. Even if I betray, the Future Buddha will not betray.”

In the Great Thunderclap Temple, it was as quiet as a cicada. The Buddhas could feel that the Tathagata Buddha was indeed very firmly trusting the Future Buddha.

And many knowledgeable Buddhas also felt that what the Tathagata Buddha said was true.

After all, although the Future Buddha's actions were somewhat extreme and ruthless before, the Future Buddha was wholeheartedly for the Western Paradise.

If it hadn't been for the Medicine Master Buddha's betrayal, the Future Buddha would not have been exiled to the South Sea to feed the fish.

Even so, the Future Buddha has never done anything to betray the Western Paradise. This is something that the Tathagata Buddha and the Buddhas have witnessed.

“Alright, all of you retreat. The calamity of the Little Thunderclap Temple cannot be neglected.” The Tathagata Buddha said lightly and stopped speaking.

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva could only retreat at this point, not daring to say more.

… …

At this moment, in the Journey to the West team.

Chu Hao led Tang Sanzang and others and had already arrived at the entrance of the Little Thunderclap Temple.

This time, even Tang Sanzang could clearly feel that the Little Thunderclap Temple was filled with a strange and dangerous aura. His intuition told Tang Sanzang that there were countless great demons inside.

Pig Bajie smiled and said:

“Master, I've heard of the Great Thunderclap Temple, but I don't know what this Little Thunderclap Temple is. Isn't there a bunch of monsters inside?”

Tang Sanzang stood at the entrance of the Little Thunderclap Temple, his eyes showing a hint of hypocritical piety, and said:

“Even the Little Thunderclap Temple must have a Buddha inside. The scriptures say there are three thousand Buddhas, and they must not all be in one place.

Like Avalokitesvara in the South Sea, Samantabhadra in Mount Emei, and Manjushri in Mount Wutai. I don't know which Buddha's dojo this is. The ancients said, 'With Buddha and scriptures, there is no place without treasure.' Let's go in now and defeat the Buddha!”

This "defeat the Buddha" was said with a decisive meaning, his killing intent was determined!

Chu Hao smiled in his heart, but he didn't expose the truth of the Little Thunderclap Temple. He just treated it as a rehearsal for Tang Sanzang to seize the true scriptures and kill the Buddha.

Along the way, Chu Hao was very gratified, watching Tang Sanzang's attitude towards worshiping Buddha and obtaining scriptures in the Western Paradise become more and more firm. His actions showed a fervent pursuit of advanced Buddhism.

The current Tang Sanzang is wholeheartedly heading west, worshiping Buddha and seizing scriptures. His dictatorial heart is becoming increasingly stubborn!

Chu Hao waved his hand:

“Let's go, let's go in and take a look. Just treat it as our own home, don't be polite.”

Chu Hao sat on the Bi Long Horse, Tang Sanzang walked in front, leading the horse, Sha Seng carried the burden, Sun Wukong and Pig Bajie each guarded the left and right, and moved forward.

The main hall on the top of the Little Thunderclap Temple released a glow, and the Dharma Protector Hall spewed purple flames. The pagoda appeared, and the fragrance of Utpala flowers filled the air. It was truly a place that seemed to be a separate heaven, and the clouds were leisurely, making one feel that the day was long.

It was truly high-end, and Chu Hao couldn't help but feel itchy.

However, Chu Hao restrained himself. Not all floors can be pried away casually.

The main reason is that the materials here are all high imitations. Chu Hao never takes these.

Pushing open the gate of the Little Thunderclap Temple, at this moment, bursts of Sanskrit sounds suddenly rang out between heaven and earth, and a refreshing fragrance came in the wind. One could also see rays of light echoing in the main hall!

The momentum was vast, and the aura was extraordinary!

Before Chu Hao and others could react, they saw a big-bellied Buddha in the main hall turn around, his voice loud and indifferent.

“Now that you see the future, why don't you worship?”
